My name is Charles G. Mahabir, and I am a writer and poet whose work is shaped by faith, reflection, struggle, and grace.

Rooted and Becoming is a place to share poems that grow out of the ongoing work of being rooted more deeply in truth while continuing the slow work of becoming. Much of my writing lives in the space between weakness and hope, longing and refinement, question and conviction.
